Survey Results Overall
The survey results showed that a strong majority wish to continue our current process of having the Selkirk Parent Group (SPG) manage school-wide staff appreciation efforts. What’s more, your input included helpful feedback on the processes we’ve used so far, and many fresh ideas to explore for future events.
Staff Appreciation Going Forward: Volunteers Needed
The SPG will organize a school-wide staff appreciation for June 2023. However, to develop and lead appreciation events beyond this June, the SPG needs your help. We simply don’t have a big enough volunteer base to manage all the SPG programs that our community loves and values! We need volunteers to keep staff appreciation running, review the many ideas brought forward in the survey, and refresh the program for the future.

- Watch for information in the coming weeks about staff appreciation for June 2023 – and remember that participation is totally optional. You choose whether, when and how to show appreciation to school staff.
