Families help the Selkirk school community thrive by contributing time, ideas and practical support. Whether you can help once or take on an ongoing role, your participation supports children’s learning, happiness and wellbeing.
Find a way to take part
Start with a meeting. Hear what is happening, ask questions and share ideas. See the meeting dates and packages.
Offer a little time. Tell us your interests and availability, including whether you need a short task, something from home or an opportunity outside school hours.
Help organize an activity. If you would like to help with fundraising or a community event, let us know what you have in mind.

School volunteer hours
The school’s current family handbooks require a minimum of 20 volunteer hours per family per academic year. SPG participation is one of several ways families can contribute. See the school’s family handbooks for the authoritative guidance and ask the school about recording hours or eligibility.
