Selkirk Parent Group (SPG) update – December 2023

The end of the calendar year is a natural time to pause and reflect on the past 12 months. As always, what bubbles up for the SPG is: gratitude. We are sincerely thankful for the time and energy you have put into supporting our activities and efforts, which are really all about lifting up our children and our community. Your participation builds and reinforces durable, flexible and creative spheres of support.

Thank you!

November games night
What a blast! Last November’s game night – run in collaboration with Interactivity Board Game Café – was such fun! With yummy offerings from the Kingfisher Café, an extensive choice of board games to try out, and even some leftover gym space for cartwheels, the evening was truly a crowd-pleaser. Thank you to Noel for organizing, and to those who took part!

Angel Gifts
Our much-loved annual Angel Gift program, in collaboration with Our Place, is in the works! You should have received information from your class representative. Receiving gifts is the highlight of the year for many recipients, and the program is a really concrete way to demonstrate to our children how our shared school community values can make a difference in a broader community.
